- Ensure all content is SEO-friendly, properly tagged, and follows best practices for web readability and accessibility.
- Monitor and maintain content calendars to ensure deadlines are met, and content is delivered on time.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in digital content, SEO, and online engagement to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Analyze content performance through data and metrics, providing feedback and recommendations for improvements.
- Manage content across multiple digital platforms, ensuring consistency in tone, style, and messaging.
- Assist in developing content strategies to enhance online presence and user engagement.
- Proven experience as a content editor, digital editor, or similar role, with a strong portfolio of work.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to write in a clear, engaging, and consistent voice.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and content optimization for digital platforms.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla, or similar.
- Proficiency in editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Grammarly, or other content editing platforms.
- Creative and able to generate fresh, innovative ideas for content.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
- A keen understanding of digital marketing strategies and how content plays a role in driving traffic and engagement.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for content distribution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar.
- Experience in video and multimedia content editing is a plus.
